Set up in 2023 by Steve and Samantha to give clients something they kept seeing them go without: someone experienced on their side of the table.
SS Consultants is a family-run construction consultancy based in Bradford, working across the UK. We manage construction projects end to end, deliver fit-outs and furniture packages, and keep businesses safe and compliant with practical health and safety and fire safety support.
Before setting up SS, Steve spent years on the delivery side, working up from Site Manager to Senior Project Manager with a major property and facilities firm. He kept seeing clients pay for things twice, approve changes they didn't understand and find out about delays too late. SS was set up to fix that.
We blend the attention of a family business with chartered expertise. We pick up the phone, we tell you straight, and we treat your project like it's our money being spent. Our clients range from specialist contractors and cleaning firms to Panda Recycling, with projects from single rooms to multi-site capital programmes.
We lead with a lean core team and a trusted network of subcontractors, designers and engineers, so we can take on bigger jobs without the overheads that push up your costs.

Director
Chartered Construction Manager and Chartered Manager. Steve worked up from Site Manager to Senior Project Manager with a major property and facilities firm before co-founding SS Consultants in 2023. He leads client projects and programmes, and speaks on leadership and mental health in construction.

Steve speaks on psychological safety, mental health and leadership in construction. His keynote has been delivered in Cape Town, in Pakistan and at events across the UK, and he has given guest lectures at the University of Wolverhampton. He is open about his ADHD and wrote about his journey in his book, Thrive 360.
